Assistant General Manager
Zack Williams is the Assistant General Manager at Oak Steakhouse in Alexandria, Virginia. A native of Fairfax, VA, Zack grew up in and around restaurants and first discovered his love for the hospitality industry while working at a pizza parlor as a teenager. Zack later landed a job serving and bartending in a fine-dining Italian restaurant in Springfield, VA called San Vito, working his way up to management in just three years. Zack took a break from the industry to earn a degree in business administration and communications from George Mason University. Following his graduation, he quickly found his way back into restaurants, briefly working for a Springfield, VA fine-dining steakhouse called Monty’s Steakhouse and Lounge, and eventually moving to Charleston, South Carolina in 2015, where he began his career with The Indigo Road at The Macintosh. In 2019, Zack relocated to his hometown of Fairfax, VA, and was hired as the Assistant General Manager for Oak Steakhouse, Alexandria. Motivated by his drive to help cultivate a more enlightened and individually tailored dining experience, Zack prides himself on being able to bring joy to someone’s day by providing stellar service and an inviting ambiance. When Zack is not working to give every guest a special experience, he enjoys reading classic and science fiction novels, as well as spending time outdoors.
